Roxana´s poetry plays to rewrite official stories including traditionally silenced voices to construct a new decolonized epic with new heroes, referents and paradigms. Identity is full of losses. Identity is a field in conflict and a space of power disputes as well colonized bodies in post capitalism era. Roxana is a traveler and her poetry happens where she has walked even though her poetry always returns to Peru, her motherland, because poetry is also her way to return to her roots.
Roxana´s work and projects have been supported by Kone Foundation, Finnish Literature Exchange (FILI), Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike), The Finnish Cultural Foundation (SKR).
